The four and five year-olds were busy at preschool on Monday making Christmas shirts for their Christmas program. Her is a peek st the shirts that will be wearing.
On Friday, October 14 the whole preschool, parents, siblings, and friends traveled to Yeck’s Farms for a fun day. We went on a hayride, traveled through a hay tunnel, navigated through a corn maze, drove a wooden tractor, climbed on a wooden wagon, played in the grain house, petted sheep and goats, saw turkeys, chickens, a pot bellied pig, and a donkey, posed for pictures in a variety of photo op places. Here are a few pictures of all the fun.
Last week at preschool we learned about the letter H. H is for horse, hat, Halloween, head, hippo, heart, and HELPING HANDS. The students were permitted to wear a hat to school and during school as part of the learning process. Here are some pictures of their smiling faces.
Westminster Church Preschool has once again won first place in the Evans City Oktoberfest Parade. Thank you Billie Jo Rice for designing and putting the float together. It is a great great kickoff to another wonderful year of preschool.
The parade was followed by a fundraiser lunch at the school. The day was a great success for the preschool and wonderful fun for the children.
The Preschool will once again be sponsoring a vendor/craft show to be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. We are looking for vendors and craft people. If you would like a spot, complete the attached registration and submit it with payment. If you are not a vendor or craft person, we would like to invite you to shop. It is all on one floor, no admittance fee is charged, a concession stand will be available, and there will be a Chinese Auction. All proceeds benefit the preschool and its students.
We took a class selfie right before our final program. The children loved it. They are wearing t-shirts that they made at school
