Cowboy/Cowgirl Days at Preschool

on February 7, 2016

On January 28th and 29th the preschool completed their unit on the “Wild West” by having cowboy/cowgirl days.  The children dressed in western gear, including fancy bandanas made and sheriff badges that were made at school.  We listened to western songs.  We did rodeo activities like; snake round-up, barrel racing, and cattle roping.  We sat by the campfire and listened Cowboy Mickey.  We ate hot dogs and cowboy beans.  We finished the day off by making s’mores on a stick.  A good time was had by all.  Here are a few pictures of the children enjoying the activities.
